Welcome to NUBIA DERM

Hi, I’m Dr. Jadesola Oyedepo, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a paediatrician with nearly a decade of experience, and over the years I’ve developed a special focus in paediatric dermatology—caring for children’s skin in all its uniqueness and beauty. My work has shown me just how often common skin conditions in dark-skinned children are misdiagnosed or misunderstood, especially in parts of the world where clinicians aren’t trained to recognise how these conditions show up on melanated skin.
That’s why I created Nubiaderm—to share simple, reliable, and relatable education on skin conditions in children, especially those with darker skin. My passion is seeing children thrive, and I truly believe that healthy skin is part of that journey—for confidence, comfort, and overall well-being.
Nubiaderm is a space to learn, stay informed, and feel seen. It’s not a consultation platform, so I won’t be offering personal medical advice—but I’ll be sharing helpful posts, skin care tips, and awareness content drawn from real clinical experience and a deep care for our community.
Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, or health worker supporting African and Black children—you’re in the right place.
I look forward to walking this journey with you—one post, one conversation, and one shared story at a time.
